Flu vaccines can be booked now. An annual influenza vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and your family for the flu season ahead.
The vaccine is free for :
- Children aged 6 months to under 5 years
- Adults aged 65 years and older
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and older
- Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy)
- Individuals with certain medical conditions that increase the risk of severe flu.
There is also a private intranasal vaccine available to children over 2 years of age. This can be booked online, please select intranasal option at booking time. For more information visit NCIRS or chat to our nurses or GPs.
