Danielle Rowarth - Craniosacral Therapist
“When things change for someone, when they get relief… it’s the most rewarding experience and that is what drives me”
Danielle’s areas of special interest
- chronic pain
- working with effects of stress and trauma
- general well-being
Danielle’s passion for the therapy began with her own health journey when she started to receive treatments for health problems in 2005. Inspired by the change in her health and well-being, she started training in 2007 with international school, Body Intelligence Training. Since graduating in 2009 Danielle has completed a number of post graduate courses to further assist with her growing interest in working with pain and in treating conditions related to stress and trauma.
“I’m fascinated by the latest understandings in pain and trauma science. We are constantly learning new things about the body, especially about the brain, that make therapies like BCST make so much sense”
Danielle combines her BCST training with her own interest in Eastern philosophy, neuroscience, personal development, movement as medicine and 27 years of meditation to bring a well-rounded and grounded approach to working with clients.
“There is so much to love about this therapy… it is very gentle and hugely respectful and very much about helping clients find comfort and ease in being in their body”
Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Danielle has been a Surf Coast resident for over 5 years. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her either on the beach, mountain biking, making art, teaching Qigong, writing poetry, swing dancing or enjoying time with friends and family
